Projects

We design and manufacture many types of gas racks that are both standard or hazardous-rated for a wide range of applications. This includes frames for medical grade gas, industrial oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, argon, hydrogen, helium and acetylene, and LPG. Product/Service List (1-5 lines – Gas manifolds (6,12,16), Gas Frames, Service Station Cages, Gas Trolleys.

Design, manufacture and install a system that will clean, paint, and fill 9kg and 4kg LPG gas cylinders.  The system needed to be simple in design for maintenance and due to the nature of the job it had to perform it needed to be robust and hard wearing for the amount of use and cylinders it has to fill.

All elements from the scissor lifts for unloading to the pushing and stop mechanisms were designed, manufactured, and installed by ADFI.

At the end of the day, our roots formed from a sheet metal shop. We are bred to weld, cut, fabricate, bend metal into whatever is requested by

Converting shipping containers into large scale coolers for the mining industry to cool employees and equipment.

The attenuation of noise in an industrial setting from machinery, fans, and engines, we control all noise levels to the atmosphere, protecting the environment, and keeping your business in line with the EPA or OHS specifications. ADF helps industries keep their machinery performing at a reasonable level of noise, from loud refrigeration units to tunnel noise attenuation – there are many complex applications that we apply one simple answer to. In industrial settings, there is most likely going to be heat produced. At ADF, we don’t just focus on solving the noise issue, but also combine a cooling or ventilation system as part of the turnkey package to the solution. We use the basic principles of a tried and tested attenuator, and then extrapolate it to suit a desired outcome. ADF have applied this to a multitude of big jobs including Citylink, Eastlink, Brisbane Airport, Graham Farmer Freeway, SupaGas, Pilkington, and TYCO Water.

Design, manufacture and install and acoustic control room that can sit above a wood chipping mill to provide the operators with a superior area to control the wood chipping mill in an environment that was far superior from their current situation.

The result was 5m x 3m control room that was erected on stilts 6m above the ground and attached to the side of the building.  The control room reduced the external noise by 38dbA, and we had a target of 35dbA.  The control room had a full glass viewing wall, kitchenette, surround sound stereo, climate control and dimmable lighting.  There was a server rack and five viewing screens for the cameras around the machinery.  This was all controlled from the state-of-the-art control chair.

An audiometric room is designed through a set of standards – either Australian or international – which provides an optimal lab condition to perform a range of hearing tests in a variety of applications, including: · Paediatric · Adults in hospitals · Screening for work safe tests · Understanding more about the nature of hearing loss . VROA The biggest challenge of meeting international standards is that the rooms must be tested at the final point of installation, meaning that samples cannot be sent off to a lab to test. Our audio rooms are designed in-house, with expert knowledge, made from premium materials and prefabricated in our warehouses, reducing the time it takes to install a room onsite – ultimately minimising any downtime. Once installed, our audiometric rooms meet and exceed all standards, which is why we can confidently claim that we are the best in the industry. What sets ADF Industries apart from other audio room manufacturers, is that we test everything independently. Once the room is installed, we hire consultants who will test every aspect of the booth – every booth receives a report to ensure it meets industry standards. Not only is ADF the industry leader in manufacturing and installing new audio booths, but they can retrofit all existing booths to meet new standards.

Design manufacture and install six audiometric testing rooms.  All rooms were for different purposes for paediatric testing and all rooms had to be to the following standards.  Australian Standards ISO-8253-2-2009, Acoustic Audiometric Test Methods.  This standard had never been achieved before for ADFI and these rooms all passed exceptionally.

Design, manufacture and install twenty one audiology rooms, the single largest sum of rooms in one building in Australia.  All rooms were for different purposes from studies on equipment to the testing of patients.

All rooms had different standards to which all were achieved.

Design manufacture and install five Audio rooms to the Next Sense (RIDBC) Specifications.  The rooms are built to meet Australian standards and one room also meets the ADFI RF specifications developed for Western Sydney University.
