RIDBC Royal institute for Deaf and Blind Children (Next Sense)
Client Brief
Design manufacture and install five Audio rooms to the Next Sense (RIDBC) Specifications. The rooms are built to meet Australian standards and one room also meets the ADFI RF specifications developed for Western Sydney University.
The Challenge
Making sure everyone was happy and establishing the same specifications and equipment to each booth every single time, no matter the environment that was surrounded. Being able to retrofit older booths if required to suit the needs of different audiologists.
The Result
Total success. ADF maintained consistent results from all testing booths around the nation, with the ability to upgrade older booths to suit modern standards. RIDBC is a not-for-profit organisation, which meant providing an elite standard of product at a reasonable cost.
