Client Brief
Design manufacture and install Two hearing testing rooms to meet the Australian Standards AS/NZS1269.4-2014, Occupational noise Management Auditory Assessment. The two rooms are being used for the testing and development of equipment and patients.
The Challenge
To accommodate for the sounds around busy East Melbourne, an area notorious for a high volume of traffic. To ensure successful results, we brought in an independent specialist to carry out vibrational analysis. The rooms required increased attenuation levels to compensate for sounds of the surrounding environment and the loud air conditioning units & car park nearby. Also the installation of unique demands that included smaller windows and duress alarms in each room.
The Result
We met the unique demands of an elite testing facility, and since developed a lifelong relationship with Cochlear Institute.
